ASCE 2024 Spring Scholarships
The Austin Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is proud to announce the availability of three (3) scholarships in amounts of $2,500, $1,500 and $1,000.
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria to be considered for a scholarship:
● University of Texas at Austin or Texas State University student registered for the Spring 2024 semester.
● Undergraduate enrolled in the Department of Civil Engineering currently classified as a sophomore, junior, or senior.
● Membership and active participation in the ASCE Student Chapter at the University of Texas at Austin or Texas State University.
Recipients will be notified of their selection by April 15, 2024 and are invited to attend the Austin ASCE Branch Luncheon in May to be recognized and receive their scholarship funds.

ASCE YMF 2023 Spring Scholarship
The Austin Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Younger Member Forum is proud to announce the availability of the 2023 Spring Scholarship.
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria to be considered for a scholarship:
Current senior at a high school in the following counties: Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, McCulloch, San Saba, Menard, Mills, Mason, Lampasas, Lavaca, Lee, or Llano
Planning on attending an institution of higher learning in fall 2023 in pursuit of a degree in Civil Engineering, STEM, or related field.
Engineer of the Year
Nominations for the 2024 Austin Branch Garabed A. Harutunian Engineer of the Year Award are due January 8, 2024. The winner will be announced as part of the Engineer’s Week festivities in February. Think about the many wonderful engineers that serve the Austin Branch and the civil engineering profession and show them your appreciation by nominating them for the Austin Branch Garabed A. Harutunian Engineer of the Year Award. The past winners of this award are literally a “Who’s Who” of the Austin civil engineering community. Surely you know someone deserving to be considered for this award.
