ASCE Austin is excited to host Nikolas "Niko" Kalos as our May speaker! Niko will be giving a presentation on Three-Girder Steel Straddle Bent Caps. Please join us for a technical discussion of the three-girder steel straddle bent caps used by TxDOT on the Direct Connectors of LP 1604/IH-10 Interchange in San Antonio, TX. These steel caps are some of the first Load Path Redundant Member (LPRM) steel bent caps implemented in the State of Texas!

NOTE: Time is allotted for lunch beginning at 11:30 AM. The meeting and speaker presentation will begin around 12 PM. A short period for questions & answers is reserved prior to 1 PM.

Regular Registration ends on Friday, May 17th; a late fee of $10 will be charged for Late Registrations. You may still attend by paying at the door (cash, check, paypal). As a non-profit, we operate on a budget that is highly dependent on revenue from sponsorships, membership fees, and event/program fees (such as this luncheon).
