Kevin Longley | Director Media Relations & Public Affairs, ASCE
Kevin Longley is the Director of Media Relations and Public Affairs at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), shaping ASCE’s relationships with the media and generating public interest in the Society’s activities, including ASCE’s Infrastructure Report Card and the Bridging the Gap economic series. Kevin and the media relations team serve as a resource for ASCE members looking to engage with the media and work on public speaking tactics to better amplify their messages and advocate for civil engineering issues. Prior to ASCE, Kevin spent three years as a producer for Sirius XM Radio’s Fantasy Sports and NASCAR channels in Washington, D.C. He has also been a freelance reporter and assisted with show operations for Arizona PBS. Kevin holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
Adam Eaton, P.E., ENV SP, CFM | Senior Project Manager, Ardurra
Adam Eaton is a Senior Project Manager and Resiliency Lead for Ardurra Group in Houston. A subject matter expert in sustainability and resiliency, he is focused on developing and delivering climate-resilient solutions for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure and policy and planning for resilient and sustainable development. Adam’s previous experience spans the public, private, and non-profit sectors and includes planning and implementation of flood mitigation and storm drainage improvement analyses, municipal and industrial water wastewater treatment, conveyance, and storage, environmental policy and regulatory projects, and international financing for sustainable and energy efficiency projects. He serves as Co-Chair for the ASCE Houston Branch Public Relations Committee and the Texas Section Government Affairs Committee and as a Texas Section First Year Director-at-Large, and is an active member of the ASCE Infrastructure Resilience Division.
