Seeking 2011-2012 Officer and Chair Positions

The purpose of Younger Member Forums (YMF) within ASCE is to direct ASCE's mission for engineers age 35 and younger.  YMF offers opportunities to network with peers, learn more about the profession, provide leadership experience and encourage the full professional development of Younger Members.  We invite you to join us for the following upcoming events and activities:

 YMF 2011-2012 Board Positions 

YMF is currently looking for young engineers interested in a leadership roles for 2011-2012 year.  The YMF Austin Branch officers and Chair positions are as follows:

UT Mentoring Program

Interested in being a mentor to UT students?  ASCE YMF will be reaching out to UT students and serving as mentors to senior level engineering students offering direction and guidance in their area of expertise on City of Austin projects.  The goal of this experience is toprovide students a practical working sense of the intricacies on working on a city project from start to finish, an opportunity that is not always given to civil engineering students.  It also provides an opportunity for our profession to give back to our community.  For more information about the mentoring program and opportunities for volunteering contact Rose Marie Klee, P.E. at RoseMarie.Klee@jacobs.com.
